JOB SCOPE

This role serves as a technical/functional specialist and works independently with guidance only in the most complex situations. Support Database Planning Engineering in the architecture, development and deployment of DB2 UDB on LUW database environments in high SLA environments.

REQUIREMENTS

·         5+ years of DBA experience, generally with one or more of the following DBMS platforms: DB2, Informix, Sybase, SQL Server, and Oracle.

·         Strong knowledge and extensive experience with Microsoft SQL server technologies is mandatory.

·         Sound knowledge of all UNIX and DB2 UDB utilities.

·         Should have strong windows platform skills and understanding of network, storage, tiered application environments and security.

·         Proficiency in writing SQL procedures, functions and packages for administration and application support.

·         Must have extensive experience installing, cloning, patching and upgrading DB2 UDB server and the underlying technology stack.

·         Strong knowledge of operating systems, scripting languages, data modeling and business intelligence tools.

·         Demonstrated ability to solve complex systems and database environment issues.

·         Work experience in a Financial Institute will be preferred.

Datawarehouse Business Leader (Risk Management) - Permanent Position with a Global Financial Services in Singapore.

The successful candidate will be based in Singapore and will manage a team of professionals dedicated to development and support of Risk Information products and services.  This Business Leader will have primary responsibility for managing the development life cycle of new initiatives in the Enterprise Risk business area. This job will entail roughly 10% travel primarily to United States and India.

Requirement

·         10 - 15 years of experience in designing and developing data-centric applications with demonstrated expertise in leveraging best practices and standard development methodologies.

·         Prior experience in development of Risk related datawarehouse projects is mandatory.

The successful candidate will be a hands-on manager in the Consolidated Master Log Service (CMLS) / Common Data Infrastructure (CDI) application area (batch and Data warehouse applications including Legacy applications).

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 10+ years of experience in designing and developing data-centric applications.
• Minimum 5 years experience managing a globally dispersed team of 10 or more developers.
• Understanding of technical development using Ab Initio OR Informatica is a must.
• Expert knowledge in Master Data Management (MDM).
