Senior Financial Consultant - Planning and Analysis (Singapore)


Job Responsibilities:     

A Senior individual contributor will take responsibility of the following,

·         Monitoring and tracking key metrics for the performance of AVPs, Sales Managers and Account Managers. (Backlog analysis; highlight long outstanding items to Sales Management)
·         Work closely with Sales teams to ensure opportunities are updated to support accurate sales forecast
·         Support revenue forecast process
·         Business Partnership with sales to highlight areas of issues, drive business recommendation: coordinate quarterly Operation Reviews, facilitate regular review with Sales Management on key financial performance, trend and abnormalities, identify key drivers and issues, give recommendations to improve business performance, attend regular Sales Meetings
·         Be a facilitator for the sub-region to communicate Business Operations initiatives to sales and educating sales on Business Operations Analytics
·         Responsible for production and distribution of Sales, Revenue, SG&A and Productivity Analysis to AVPs and Sales Managers with capability to drill down to AM and NASP level.
·         Support annual budgeting process and coordinate quarterly target adjustment process
·         Working with the process improvement team to ensure the quality of revenue, allocation and segment data within the Revenue Data Warehouse and its associated systems
·         Prepare ad-hoc analysis / presentations to management as required.

Qualifications:

·         Must have a 8+ years of financial analysis experience in the industry
·         Generally requires a BS degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience
·         Accountancy qualification or MBA and experience in telecoms or hi-tech industry
·         Business analysis skills PC literate (Excel to an advanced level)
·         Requires a broad range of skills within a professional discipline to effectively perform complex assignments
·         Proven experience working closely with senior management
·         Fluency in Japanese and English speaking is mandatory.

Group Product Marketing Manager (Asia Pacific) - Role based in Singapore


Job Description
To align the global strategic portfolio direction to the requirements of Verizon Asia Pacific, creating and executing on the offerings roadmap, creating and maintaining partnerships with other partners / providers and achieving sales and revenue plans in partnership with Sales, marketing and global product groups.  The Group manager will work closely with portfolio Directors, Product managers and other functional groups such as Customer Service, Legal and Network Engineering and Operations.

This includes:
·         Define the Asia Pacific portfolio strategy and offering roadmap
·         Work with Global product portfolio groups to bring innovative solutions to market with speed and rigor.  Help establish appropriate solution and market prioritization.
·         Be the Asia Pacific cross portfolio “subject matter expert” for Verizon and position Asia’s requirements to the company and product groups.  Build an irresistible business case for investment.
·         Position the portfolio in the market, with existing customers and sales.
·         Build the case for creation of a high performing cross-product team that can represent the product needs to the region and provide day to day alignment with Global product groups.
·         Expand the global product teams’ understanding of Asia, market opportunity and solutions priorities and requirements.
·         Understand, analyze monthly revenue and sales reporting – develop and implement product actions resulting from analysis.
·         Convery product lifecycle management, product description and roadmap requirements to Global groups. This includes:
o    leading product teams in product requirements, agreeing management of product lifecycle and product enhancement.
o    Understanding feature / functionality / regulatory requirements across markets
o    Represent Asia requirements in PLM process and be responsible for approving in Asia launch readiness.
·         External media support including conducting interviews, press release support and deliver external conference customer facing presentations.
·         Support sales enablement and marketing initiatives, provide product information, product and procedure interpretation.
·         Lead with integrity and own the results.  Provide influence through problem solving and effective communication.  Be prepared to influence at all levels.
·         Be comfortable with driving change across a large global organization.

Key Candidate Requirements
·         Degree in Science, Engineering, Marketing or related field of study; combination of engineering and MBA highly desired.
·         Technical experience in within a telecommunications / IT technology related field - specific global telecommunications experience is required.
·         10+ years’ work experience with a minimum of 5 years of product management or development experience with a proven track record of bringing successful solutions to market. Experience in high technology, preferably outsourcer / service provider / consultancy and marketing.
·         Excellent understanding of Asia Pacific market place.  Excellent interpersonal skills - experience working in a multi-cultural team within Asia.
·         Strong relationship management and aptitude for networking and developing cross functional relationships.
·         Highly developed analytical skills and oral/written presentation ability (esp. for senior leadership audience). Financial acumen and business case proficiency, including scenario modeling.
·         High energy, strategic thinker with track record of executing. Excellent project management skills.
·         Can be flexible with respect to work commitments. Language knowledge requirements; English = fluent , other Asian language preferable
