Senior Fixed Income Manager – Investment Bank in Singapore.

This is a senior position to support the Fixed income business of an Investment Bank in Singapore. Potential candidate should be from the financial industry currently holding a Vice President or Director role.

- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferable with a MBA
- Must have more than 10 years of experience of which 5 should be gained in the financial market (investment banking)
- Strong Knowledge of Fixed Income products for the entire end to end cycle is a must
- In-Depth knowledge of Bloomberg (TOMS) is another must with all other eTrading ECNs (e.g. BrokerTec, eSpeed)
- Knowledge of ION, Omgeo & OPICS+ (MISYS) is a plus
- Excellent communication & presentation skills in English with willingness to write business case and project proposal

Main Responsibilities
- Addressing Business Needs for Fixed Income products (e.g. Bonds, Repo, ABS & MBS, etc.,) from front to back for the end to end process
- Business partnership – establish a good and trust partnership with stakeholders (Front office, Middle office and Back office)
- Strategic planning – define an IT strategy and roadmap for Fixed Income while adhering to the overall Financial Market strategy in order to meet and support the Bank’s business growth with a proper and specific planning for all the IT deliverables
- Project Budgets - Manage & Plan Project Budget with Business & Key stakeholders. Secure funding sources and ensure 100% chargeability of Application support resources. Manage budget forecast within 5-10% FY actuals on a quarterly basis.
- Vendor Management - Formalizing and updating a vendor relationship engagement model for major vendors eg. BBG, Omgeo
- Project Management - Aid in Delivery and Project health of Key Projects in Fixed Income
- Audit & Security - Tracking the Audit and operational risk issues to ensure no unsatisfactory audits
- All outstanding Audit Issues closed on Schedule
- No repeated audit issues
- Identify and build a strong team – Identify potential individuals, provide support and training and recruit as and when necessary in order to build a strong team to become 100% self-sufficient team
