Service Delivery Manager (PMO)

The Global Client Services ‘Solution Delivery Manager’ (SDM) is responsible for the delivery of complex, multi-towered services within a Statement of Work (SOW) or Contractual commitment that achieves a specific business outcome for a large, multi-national account. This role is responsible for ensuring that the overall end client solution is supportable within the Verizon framework of services and service level agreements as well as with all Third Party Vendors. This role includes all the below mentioned responsibilities, but is not limited to, Network, Applications, Data Center services, Security, Unified Communication, Cloud services & IT services.  

Job Responsibilities
·         You will be involved within service strategy and service design which enables the SDM to create the over-arching, end solution client project plan, and also the service transition phase of the project. 
·         You will be able to work through complex business & client challenges and collaborate in developing and implementing end-to-end project solutions. 
·         You will be responsible for matrix managing all internal and external Verizon supplier organizations, including coordination with Sales, Order Entry, Project Managers, Billing as well as Third Party Vendors (including negotiating on behalf of the customer), client partners and customer deliverables to achieve Critical Success Factors. 
·         You will be required to develop holistic risk mitigation strategies to ensure there is minimal unpredicted impact to the delivery of service as specified in the contract/SOW.
·         You will make recommendations on at-risk milestones to ensure optimal focus for delivery of service is also a responsibility for the SDM. 
·         You will be required to ensure delivered services go through Service Transition by delivering process improvement components and conducting a Lessons Learned conversation with the client and internal project team members using Continued Service Improvement (CSI) methodologies. 
·         You will be responsible for ensuring client updates and communication are current relative to all SOW creations, project installations, project milestones, risk mitigation strategies and overall governance. 
·         You are also responsible for thoroughly understanding how the configuration items are to be integrated to achieve the client business outcome and solution. 
·         In achieving the client outcome, you are responsible for ensuring that SOWs are delivered on time, within the contracted budget, and is accepted by the customer (per established project plan acceptance criteria).

Person Specification:
·         You should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree qualification
·         Your total experience must be more than 10 years with 3+ years of relevant Enterprise Client Experience in the Project / Program Management capacity with proven experience in deploying & delivering complex infrastructure solutions across the Globe / APAC region.
·         You must have experience in Service Management & Supplier management related to infrastructure projects such as Network Services (LAN, WAN, WLAN, MPLS, IP, VPN), Security Services, Cloud Services, Unified Communications, Mobility Solutions, Managed services (Data Center, Colocation, IT Hosting), Customer Premise Equipment (CPE), etc.., in large and complex client base.
·         Your Financial Business acumen, technical expertise in CPE & Network elements along with the experience in achieving results in complex, internationally distributed organizations is a major plus.
·         You must have the ability to work across multiple stakeholder groups and manage competing / conflicting priorities to ensure targeted business outcomes.
·         You must be a certified professional either in Project Management Professional (PMP), Prince2 Practitioner, TOGAF or ITIL Foundations v3
·         Your advanced skills in Ocean tool, Microsoft Office product suite, including PowerPoint, Excel & Word and Customer enablement tools (F&E, ESP, ETMS, OVI, nSAP, VEC, WAN Analysis) is a major plus
·         You must be an individual who embraces ethics, integrity and professionalism.
