The Strategy, Architecture and Shared Application Services group is responsible for the IT strategy and business alignment of the IT capabilities and IT Assets of the Global Payments Services organization. It performs this role within the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific (APAC) Regions; supporting retail banking platforms for commercial clients worldwide.
The application is built on Java and Informatica that has been customized for the Bank and the qualified individual will have,
Required Skills
o 4-8 years of experience in Application/Production Support environment
o Java/J2EE, understanding of applications on a Unix and Linux platform
o Understanding of the Unix file systems
o Informatica knowledge a plus or IMB/JBOSS Web servers
o Understanding of basic production support structures and triage management.
o Working in a global environment across several time zones.
o Knowledge of banking Payments/Cash Management/Treasury
o Global banking commerce and EDI a plus.
o Good organizational and communications skills to be able to effectively work across global teams and interact with business partners.
Responsibilities
o Provide technical development and production support on the application.
o Includes all development and support activities which encompasses enhancements, monitoring, support, bug fixes and interfacing with Project teams on existing Unix or Linux platforms.
