‘Walking’ is an integral part of our life – How about walking for a “Social Cause”?
I
have volunteered myself along with several of our Verizon colleagues across
Asia Pacific region to raise awareness and funds for ‘Walk in Her Shoes 2015’
from 16 to 22 March 2015 run by CARE Australia – a non-profit organization.
I'll
be walking to support women and girls who have to walk for hours every
day just to get life's essentials: water, food and healthcare. The
money raised will give them the opportunity to get an education and earn an
income - and escape the devastating cycle of poverty.
