Job Title: Java Development Manager
Job Type: Permanent / Full time
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Management of team of developers; understanding the programme’s architectural goals and strategy and converting this into a detailed roadmap of the change of components. Delivering change to the components within the timelines of the business. Providing Level 3 support to the components in production.
Qualification and Skills:
§ Minimum of 12-15 years in IT with more than 5-8 years in owning the projects and leading the development teams.
§ Experience in building generic services.
§ A strong background in software design and development.
§ Previous experience working in Investment Banking
§ Preferred technological background: Java (Server Side), Spring (2.5), Hibernate (3.3), JBoss, SOAP
§ Proven track record in managing delivery of web services inside SOA.
§ Hands-on experience with managing the full software development life cycle.
§ Excellent software design skills.
§ Knowledge of Oracle DBMS and T-SQL
§ Exposure in Agile methodologies is a plus
§ Knowledge in Business Process Management System is a plus
§ Experience with development WPF (.NET 3.5) is a plus
